Manor Description

Finalist in the HIA Custom Build over $1,000,000

Our designers had to think outside the box for this home.  The design was quite an architectural challenge with a very steep block with the views facing the south which is not ideal for outdoor entertaining the solution was to make a split level home in a fan shape that gently followed the contours of the land so that most rooms in the home could have views of the river from inside the home while a large north facing deck catered for outdoor entertaining.

The fan shape of the house is replicated in the sweeping eave over the entrance and creates a spectacular first impression with its timber lining, polished concrete floor and vertical Alpolic walls. Once inside the expansive views of the river are visible through large well positioned windows and glass doors. An innovative mix of architectural cladding, including Alpolic and linear boards, blockwork and timber decking and feature timber screens used for the cladding while inside quality fittings and fixtures and extensive joinery are evidenced throughout.
