This three bedroom contemporary home is compact yet spacious built on a corner in a new estate the brief was to connect with the natural landscape whilst providing the client with privacy she desired. This home was designed for a professional woman with grandchildren, who loves entertaining and occasionally works from home. A study with customized joinery makes working from home a breeze while a large deck opening off the living area and wrapping around to the main bedroom suite boasts postcard scenes of the surrounding neighborhood. For Derbyshire the challenge was to execute all of this on an extremely steep block of only 400m2 and manage to install a non-slopping driveway to accommodate our client’s wishes. Judging from our client’s response we certainly met all of her expectations.
