A striking architecturally designed home, this project was a collaborative effort between architect, builder and client.  Situated on a hill with a slopping block this home was designed to take advantage of the impressive views of the surrounding landscape and built with sustainability in mind, using passive solar design, heavy duty insulation and double glazed windows and doors to achieve its 6-star energy rating.

The exterior of the home is finished in a high quality white render, with a fantastic use of concrete that creates a bold structural edge. Timber batons and a custom built timber panel garage door add warmth to the crisp white and concrete render walls.

The open plan indoor/outdoor living was achieved by use of large floor to ceiling windows and doors that opened onto a timber deck downstairs with direct access to the pool and an alfresco entertaining area on the upstairs deck. Highlight windows and vaulted ceilings add to the feeling of light and spaciousness and panoramic views of the landscape are visible at every turn.

A mix of luxurious fixtures and fittings ensure this home achieved the sophisticated look our client required with chandeliers and pendant lights throughout the home, free standing baths in the ensuite and main bathroom, full width mirrors, a large walk in robe in the master bedroom complete with laundry chute and a separate study with built in cabinetry. 

The kitchen is arguably the showpiece of this stylish home with an open-plan kitchen and meals area featuring a large island bench with an expansive stone benchtop, two-pack joinery and stainless steel Miele appliances, butler’s pantry and built with sink and cabinetry.
